mostly works in openbsd. sound is a little wierd[1], and X works great in -current/4.3.
sd0@ahci is hella fast. in a 'dd' speed test, 38MB/sec reads and writes.

Firmware updates were easy. Grab 'dosdisk.img' from http://linux.dell.com/projects.shtml#biosdisk
and copy the latest firmware (in my case 'D630_A09.EXE') from http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?os=BIOSA&osl=EN&catid=-1&impid=-1&servicetag=&SystemID=LATITUDE+D630&hidos=WW1&hidlang=en
onto it.
